La Presidenta

Rosalía Arteaga Serrano, born in Cuenca, Ecuador, on December 5, 1956 and was the youngest women president in the history of Latin America and one of the only ten (10) who came to the highest office. She is an Ecuadorian social activist, writer and politician, who was the first female president and constitutional vice president of Ecuador, between 1996 and 1998.

The presence of Rosalía Arteaga in the official gallery of Presidents of the Republic walked through the labyrinths of history. And it took 21 years for his portrait to be placed in the Yellow Room of the Carondelet Palace.

The former President of Ecuador, Rosalía Arteaga, defends a "glocal" world, in which the globality that allows technology and respect for the local that guarantees identity is mixed.
